North Carolina will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Halifax Resolves with Prelude to Revolution: Halifax Resolves Days.
America’s first formal call for independence, a document known as the Halifax Resolves, is coming home to North Carolina for a short time as part of the state’s commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary.
The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Major Anzell Harris:
