Roanoke Rapids City Council and the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District Board of Education Tuesday night approved a memorandum of understanding for traffic control officers.
Starting on Thursday sometime after noon, Fairground Lane between Highway 158 and Becker Drive Extension near Patch Rubber Road will be closed until further notice, according to the Weldon Police Department.
