The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Lieutenant Morgan Worrell:

Larceny

On June 9 officers responded to a business on Premier Boulevard regarding the larceny of a gaming device. 

An unidentified man was seen going behind the counter and taking the device from the store. The larceny occurred on June 8 around 1 p.m. 

Counterfeit money

On June 5 around 11 p.m., a woman used four counterfeit $50 bills to purchase an electronic device at a local business on Premier Boulevard. 

After using this counterfeit currency, the woman was given change from the store clerk in the amount of $40.57.
