In 2025, the entertainment scene in the Roanoke Valley saw much activity, namely at Weldon Mills Theatre, the Acorn Center, and Carolina Crossroads.

Carolina Crossroads

The biggest highlight was the reopening of the Carolina Crossroads outdoor venue. After a period of inactivity, Carolina Crossroads saw a significant revival in 2025 under the direction of BarnBurner Promotions.

The season focused on high-profile outdoor country and rock concerts with Jamey Johnson reopening the venue.

Weldon Mills Theatre

Weldon Mills Theatre was active with national touring acts, featuring a mix of country, rock, and tribute performances.

Some of the highlights included The Rocketman Elton John tribute show, Clint Black, the ABBA tribute band Arrival From Sweden, and Rick Springfield.

The Acorn Center

The Acorn Center served as another entertainment hub, offering a schedule of free summer concerts, ticketed national acts, and a seasonal holiday lineup. Highlights included The Embers, the Eagles tribute band Across the Border, and dueling pianos.
