A 57-year-old Roanoke Rapids man was charged and arrested Monday for indecent exposure to a child under 16.
Lieutenant Bobby Martin of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said Arthur Lee Abbington was arrested following investigation by Detective James Matthews
Abbington was jailed on $2,000 bond and has a June 2 court date.
Deputy Danny Radford and Sergeant Randy Keeton assisted in the investigation.
