The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

•A 13-year-old juvenile has been petitioned to court for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. Detective Doug Pilgreen said in a news release on Aug. 22 Deputy Roy Viverette responded to a breaking and entering and larceny on Edwards Fork Road in the Scotland Neck area where a shed was broken into and numerous items were stolen. The investigation resulted in petitions in being obtained.

•Sterling Douglas, 33, from the Enfield area, is wanted for obtaining property by false pretenses. William Joseth Love, 37, from Roanoke Rapids, is wanted for breaking and entering into a vehicle and larceny. He also has several outstanding orders for arrest for unrelated charges.
