A woman for whom a Silver Alert was issued last week has been found safe in her hometown of Rocky Mount.
The woman was last seen in the Scotland Neck area of Halifax County on December 30.
Detective Tyree Davis of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said Edna Kay Williams was last seen on Access Road in Scotland Neck.
Lieutenant Bobby Martin said this morning she was located in Rocky Mount.
Her car was located in Asheville on January 17.
