Roanoke Rapids police this afternoon released a surveillance photo of the purported Becker Drive Roanoke Rapids Savings Bank robbery suspect.

The female is described as standing 5-feet, 4-inches to 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighing approximately 120 to 135 pounds.

She wore a white-low cut shirt, white hat, dark colored light-weight jacket and wore light-colored sunglasses. She carried a bag with her.

The woman entered the bank and passed the teller a note demanding money.

She fled on foot, heading south toward Becker Village Mall with an undisclosed amount of currency.

Captain O.L. Morgan said while the cap appears to have an Under Armour logo on it, it is more likely an “M.”
