The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a 2008 Kawasaki KX100 was stolen from the Thelma Road area Tuesday.
The dirt bike has an aftermarket lowering kit installed on it.
The dirt bike was stolen following an outside storage shed break-in when no one was home.
Major Scott Hall said it is unlikely the dirt bike theft is tied to the theft of rims and low-profile tires in the area of Zoo Road.
