Spencer Nichols, a local Edward Jones financial advisor, is supporting the Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program by using his office as a drop-off location for this year's toy drive.

Local residents may help needy children in the area by bringing in a new, unwrapped toy to the office at 409 Becker Drive in Roanoke Rapids, during regular business hours through December 10.

"With the holiday season around the corner, we are all getting ready for the festivities," Nichols said. "And as this is the season of giving, now is a great time to remember the less fortunate in our community."

Northampton County Farm Bureau

The Northampton County Farm Bureau Board in cooperation with the Northampton County Insurance Service is holding their annual toy drive for foster care and needy families.  

All donations can be dropped off at the insurance offices in Conway, Gaston, and Jackson.  

The toy drive will last through December 6.
