The vehicle was tracked from Roanoke Rapids to Enfield where it was stopped by Enfield police officers K. Lawrence and W. Hammiel.

Eric Mayton, 31, of Roanoke Rapids. was arrested and taken to the magistrate’s office where he was charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He received a $5,000 bond and December 4 court date.
