Main Street Roanoke Rapids and the city’s parks and recreation department teamed up Friday for Christmas at 1026 on the avenue.
Children got a chance to talk to Santa Claus and take tractor-pulled hayrides around town.
Throughout the holiday season, children can drop their letters to Santa in a special mailbox set up at the 1026 Roanoke Avenue urban greenspace.
