A followup investigation Monday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a Roanoke Rapids man on meth and cocaine counts.
Another man in the residence on Raleigh Drive was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon, according to Captain A.M. Harris of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
Agents went to the residence around 3 p.m. and encountered 27-year-old Brandon Reeves and 21-year-old Jonathan Coley of Jefferson Street.
The home was seized and a search warrant was applied for and granted.
Agents arrested and charged Reeves, 27, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
