The Northampton County Committee of Police Chiefs and the sheriff’s office personnel will be conducting monthly community meetings for citizens to attend throughout the county.
These monthly meetings will give citizens throughout the county an opportunity to ask questions of law enforcement.
Captain Patrick Jacobs said citizens can express any concerns, learn about starting neighborhood watch programs, learn of ways to combat crime throughout the county, and learn of safety concerns revolving around crime throughout the county.
Law enforcement will present at each meeting with different brochures and information for citizens and communicating the important aspects of safety. “These monthly meetings will give law enforcement and our citizens an opportunity to communicate effectively in the knowledge of vital information to combat crime,” Jacobs said.
These meetings will take place at different law enforcement municipalities within Northampton County each month, with the first community meeting being held on Tuesday February 25, at the Conway Town Hall at 6 p.m.
These meetings will be open to citizens of the town and also citizens throughout the county in the respective area.
