As of midnight Monday, the Halifax County Public Health System is aware of 471 tests which have been performed to detect the novel coronavirus.

The breakdown is as follows:

74 positive cases; one related death; and 45 recoveries.

There are 11 tests pending and 386 negative test results.

The most cases, according to a ZIP code map by the state Department of Health and Human Services, is within the Roanoke Rapids ZIP code area, with a total of 24 and one related death.

The health system said the other cases are spread out across the county.

The graph contained in the photo gallery notes a slight upward trend which the health system said may indicate a flattening.

Caledonia Correctional Institution remains at 17 positive cases, according to the state Department of Public Safety.
