The Center for Energy Education’s Back-to-School Bookbag Giveaway is Saturday.
The time is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 460 Airport Road in Roanoke Rapids.
Local families are invited to stop by and receive free bookbags filled with school supplies.
This is a drive-through event. Bookbags will be distributed while supplies last, so families are encouraged to arrive early.
