The Roanoke Valley Aging Expo will return for the 35th year to provide participants with opportunities to learn about programs and services offered in the area.
This year’s theme is Stay in the Mix in ‘26 and will focus on health, safety, and wellness.
The Aging Expo will be on Thursday, October 1, at the Kirkwood Adams Community Center in Roanoke Rapids from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see exhibits and receive information about various health, education, social, and cultural resource programs offered to older adults in the Roanoke Valley.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day with a grand prize drawing at the end of the Expo. You must be present before lunch to win.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive a free health screening that includes: blood pressure, height, weight, an eye screening, and a hearing screening.
