The Halifax County Board of Elections submitted a request to consolidate precincts in Halifax County, which has been approved by the NC State Board of Elections. 

The changes are:

Voters who previously voted at Halifax Electric Membership Corporation (ENF1) and First Baptist Church of Enfield (ENF2) will now vote at St. Paul Baptist Church, located at 421 S. McDaniel St., Enfield, NC 27823.

• Voters who previously voted at Lloyd Andrews (RR3-4) will now vote at the New Resource Building, located at 116 W. 3rd St., Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.

These changes will take effect beginning with the upcoming 2026 General Election. 

Voters affected by the precinct consolidation will receive an updated voter card in the mail in the weeks prior to the election.
