The arrest today of a second person wanted in an employee theft case brings the total amount of funds obtained through a fraudulent mobile coupon to $25,314.50.
Warrants state that the woman arrested today, 37-year-old Heather Haskins, stole $22,926 by using the coupon.
The woman arrested last week, Shauniyah Robinson, 18, allegedly stole $2,388.50 from the West Tenth Street store where both she and Haskins worked.
The fraud spanned from January to February, the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday.
The store reported the thefts in March.

Major Anzell Harris said that around 11 a.m. today, Detective I. Miller arrested Haskins, of Littleton, for obtaining property by false pretense.
He said she allegedly conducted 587 transactions that accounted for the $22,926 loss to the store.
Haskins posted a $1,500 secured bond and has a September 9 district court date.
