Narcotics agents of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Medicine Drop Take Back Initiative Saturday, September 12, at Walgreens.

Time will be 9 a.m. to noon at the store located at 101 Smith Church Road.

Captain A.M. Harris said the agents and sheriff’s office are working together to encourage the public to safely dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medication. This includes sharps, liquids and pet medication.
