The Halifax County Health Department today added 52 new positive cases of the novel coronavirus to its data since its last report on Friday, bringing the total cumulative number since testing began in March to 1,269.
“The numbers continue to climb as were projected and this is a strong indicator that compliance with the Three Ws will be vital if we are to sustain any openings that we presently have,” health Director Bruce Robistow said this afternoon. “A continuation of this direction will most likely result in a reevaluation of the phase we’re currently in.”
