The  Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce and  NC Works Career Center have teamed up for a drive-through job fair on December 1 from 9 a.m. to noon at Roanoke Rapids Fire Station 2 on Highway 125.

The following companies and organizations are participating: Lowe’s Distribution; Enviva; the city of Roanoke Rapids; and the Halifax-Northampton Reentry Council.

Participants must remain in their cars and will be handed a bag with the information on how to apply for the jobs with the different companies.

If you are asked to park and come in, social distancing will be practiced and hand sanitizer and masks will be provided for interviews. 

Those interested will drive through the bay.
