A Rich Square man pleaded guilty this week to one of two counts lodged against him and the clerk was instructed to enter a not guilty plea to a second count.

Rasean Bolden, who faces two federal weapons counts, entered a plea before Chief Judge Richard E. Myers II in Wilmington on count 1.

Count 1 charges that Bolden, who also goes by the name Donald Whitaker Jr., committed a crime in August of 2019 while already being convicted of previous crime by possessing ammunition.

Count 2, the charge in which the not guilty plea was entered, relates to a 2017 crime in which he possessed a firearm.

Sentencing is set for July 6 before Myers.

After his arraignment, he was remanded to return to custody.
