The Enfield Police Department today swore in Clayton W. Glover as its new captain.

The Navy veteran is a Nash County native and has more than 10 years experience in law enforcement.

He has worked for the Vidant Company Police, UNC Nash Healthcare Police, Nash County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lankford Protective Services Company Police.  

Glover is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

He is currently working on his masters in management from Harvard University.

He is pictured with his wife Brittany and his sons Jonah, 9, Nolan, and Bennett, 4.
