Brooke Mills Simpson, the singer and songwriter Native from Halifax County's Hollister, North Carolina who finished third place of the thirteenth season (December 2017) on Team Miley Cyrus of NBC's talent competition The Voice is returning to competition.

Simpson announced on Tuesday evening that she has returned to the telivision stage and has auditioned and will make an appearence on the NBC show "Americans Got Talent" (AGT).

The AGT season premeir is Tuesday June 1st at 8PM WRAL 5 NBC. It is not known if Simpson will compete on the season pemeir or the next week. So be sure to tune in and support our Halifax Native and North Carolina's Brooke Simpson.
