Effective Thursday, masks will be required to be worn inside Halifax County buildings regardless of vaccination status.
This is due to the recent increase in positive COVID-19 cases in Halifax County and North Carolina, the county said in a statement today.
The policy applies to all county facilities.
Masks will be made available for those entering without one.
