A parade was held prior to the start of this morning’s Roanoke Rapids High School 100th anniversary ceremony.

The parade, which started at Washington Street and went down Hamilton Street included the floats from Friday’s homecoming parade, vintage and modern vehicles, as well as members of Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free, and Accepted Masons of North Carolina and former RRHS homecoming queens.

The Grand Lodge oversaw the rediciation of the school’s cornerstone.
