The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 20-year-old Roanoke Rapids man who was reported missing by family this afternoon.

Chief Deputy Scott Hall said Armel Deloatch may be familiar to some people for riding a skateboard on Zoo Road.

Deputies responded to the Farmdale Drive area around noon and were told by family members that the man was last seen on February 27 after leaving the family home in the middle of the night.

He stands 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. He has a close haircut.
