Halifax County Native and 3rd place finisher of season 13 of The Voice on NBC competition Brooke Simpson returned home to perform Saturday night at the Roanoke Rapids THeatre.

Simpson was one of many who performed Saturday night at the Free 17th Annual Holiday Celebration event sponsored by H.D. Pope.
