David Thomas Graeter of Boy Scout Troop 144 in Roanoke Rapids was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at a recent Court of Honor.  

Graeter’s Eagle Scout project was the beautification of Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.  

Ken Wilson, president of the Halifax Resolves Sons of the American Revolution Chapter, recognized Graeter’s accomplishments by awarding him the SAR Eagle Scout Recognition certificate “for outstanding achievement and exceptional leadership and citizenship evidenced by his attainment of the rank of Eagle Scout.”
