At least 75 children and possibly more will be helped through the Northampton County Farm Bureau Board of Directors toy drive.

It was their seventh annual drive to collect toys for foster care children and families in need.

Donations were collected at the offices in Conway, Gaston, and Jackson in cooperation with the insurance company.

“This was the biggest drive to date and the board would like to thank the Northeast Academy elementary, junior and senior Beta Clubs and all the citizens for their generous donations to help brighten the lives of the children in Northampton County,” the board said.
