The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating the use of counterfeit currency at Sheetz.
The bogus money was used at the store on February 8 at 7 p.m.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police department at 252-533-2810, or anonymously at Halifax County Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
