A Roanoke Rapids woman was charged today with stabbing another woman after the two had an argument.
Roanoke Rapids Police Department Detective Sergeant M. Worrell said officers responded to the 400 block of Monroe Street after receiving a report of a stabbing.
The victim, who is in stable condition after being transported for medical treatment, and Jennifer Summerlin, 36, who was charged, were both located.
Summerlin was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. She received a $10,000 bond and April 25 district court date.
