Roanoke Rapids Graded Schools Superintendent Julie Thompson and public information officer Mandy Clark started the first week of school greeting RRGSD students as they got on the bus returning to school for the 23-24 school year.

Friday afternoon they got the chance to help monitor and send the students home for the long Labor Day weekend.
