The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is looking for 20-year-old Tavaris Malik Pye in connection with a child sex offense case that occurred in late June.

Chief Shane Guyant said Pye faces a count of statutory rape with a child 15 or less. 

Pye’s last known address was in the area of the 100 block of Washington Street. He stands 5-feet, 11-inches tall.
