A woman listed as an absconder by the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is also the subject of a missing person report taken by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department on February 4.

Mary Kathryn Freeman, 63, had last been seen in the 1000 block of Washington Street on January 20, Chief Shane Guyant said.

The family reported that a friend had told them Freeman left in a camper with two people.

While information on Freeman has been forthcoming it has not been helpful in locating her, with the exception that she was at an address on Airport Road on January 26.

Freeman stands 5-6 and weighs approximately 170 pounds. She has brown eyes.

A left ankle tattoo says Michael — 4-23-93; a right thigh tattoo has a Confederate flag and the words Redneck Bitch; while a right shoulder tattoo has a black heart, winds, a rainbow and the words Cold Hearted.

Guyant said police are unsure of Freeman’s status or location.
