NC MedAssist will have its Mobile Free Pharmacy program in Enfield Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The location will be St. Paul’s Baptist Church located at 421 S. McDaniel Street.

The Mobile Free Pharmacy provides adults and children who are low-income and in need with free over the counter medicine. Medicine such as aspirin, children’s cough syrup, allergy medicine and vitamins are just a few items given to families who need assistance.

Throughout the 2022-2023 fiscal year, NC MedAssist disbursed over $70.1 million in prescription and OTC medication and touched more than 73,000 individuals and families across the state of North Carolina.
