Two men, one of whom already faces trafficking charges from a July raid, are wanted by the Halifax Regional Drug and Gang Task Force after the execution Wednesday of a drug search warrant on Peede Lane.
The search warrant was the result of an investigation by task force agents into Marqueese Mason and Alphonso Williams Jr. both of Roanoke Rapids.
Major Anzell M. Harris of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said the two men were using the residence and property to store and sell a variety of illegal drugs.
During the search of the property, agents located multiple items of drug paraphernalia, a quantity of marijuana, cocaine and psychedelic mushrooms along with two firearms.
Agents also located a dirt bike with an altered vehicle identification number in a storage shed, which Harris said is typical when those types of items are stolen. That will require further investigation, he said.
Within the last few months Williams and Mason joined forces at the property on Peede Lane and they both began running their drug business from this one house, Harris said.
