Ernest Lee Piercy, Sr. 84 of Littleton died Monday November 16, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Noble Burns and Sarah Broom Piercy. 

He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson Brad Lee Shanahan and his wife, Joyce Gray Piercy.

Ernest was retired from the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia.

He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy Piercy Waitt and her fiancée’ Tim of Roanoke Rapids and Melissa Piercy Gordon and her husband, Robert of Chesapeake, Virginia; his son, Ernest Lee Piercy, Jr and his wife, Cindy Wade Piercy; five grandchildren Meighan Shanahan, Lindsey Piercy French and her husband, Andy, Brandon Piercy, Joshua Watkins and Corey Gordon; five great-grandchildren Wesley Shanahan, Kaleigh Berman, Raegan Piercy, Joshua Watkins, Jr., Arianna Watkins and his special friend, Effie Nicholson.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday November 19, 2020 at 2 P.M. at Lake Gaston Baptist Church in Littleton with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat officiating.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time at the Church on Thursday.
