Lloyd Bell Wall, 86 of Gasburg, VA passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Blackridge Virginia on September 8, 1934 to the late Elva Wilson and John Wall and was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ruth Wright Wall; his foster parents, Ester and Eddie Jones; and his sister, Mae Keeter, Brothers, Emory Wall, Josh Wall, Jessie Wall, Linwood Wall and Vernie Wall; his foster sister, Mamie J. Baird and his special Nephew, Puddin Keeter.

Lloyd was a beloved husband to Ruth and took care of her during her sickness for 18 months. He worked for Burlington Industries for over 40 years. 

After he retired, he started helping his nephew “Puddin” as a hobby on his farm just to spend time with his family and friends. 

He loved driving the Big Tractor with the air conditioner. Lloyd loved life, farming and most of all loved and adored his four grandchildren. He loved people in general, had a great demeanor and a gentle soul. Leading up to his death, he was ready to go home to be with his Lord and Savior.

Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Sandra Wall Stephenson of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; his son, Michael Wall and his wife, Stacy of Gasburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Lauren Stephenson and Meredith Stephenson both of Greenville, North Carolina, Tyler Wall and friend Meredith of Blackridge, Virginia and Cameron Wall of Bracey, Virginia; his half-sister, Rachael Wall Allen of Emporia Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 2pm at Olive Branch United Methodist Church in Gasburg, Virginia with Rev. Randy Williams and Rev. Greg Hand officiating.

Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
