Shirley Carter Flythe 91 of Conway died Friday July 23, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Nathaniel and Mildred Garner Carter. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen Carter, Margaret Wallace, Frances Johnson, Louise Carter and a brother, Sonny Carter.

She is survived by her Children, Richard Earl Flythe and his wife Rhonda of Conway, Shirley Rose and her husband, Gurney of Seaboard, Sharon Flythe of the home, Donna Steigelman and her husband Patrick of Aydlett; her grandchildren, Brian Flythe and his wife, Sara, Kevin Flythe and his wife, Ashley, Edwin Rose and his wife, Heather and Justin Rose and his wife, Misty; her great grandchildren, Corey Flythe, Simon Flythe, Nathaniel Flythe, Caroline Flythe, Reid Harrison, Chelsea Ann Edwards, Cole Rose, Grace Ann Rose and Judah Rose; her sister Mildred Arnold and her husband, Linwood of Morehead City,   special Aunt Essie Woods of Conway, several nieces and nephews and her furry companions, Shag, Buddy, Scooter and Harriett.

Graveside services will be held Sunday July 25, 2021 at 2 PM in the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Carol Taylor officiating.
