Ann Prince Hamilton, 67, died Saturday, January 4, 2020 in her Roanoke Rapids home.
Born in Halifax County on March 1, 1952, she was the daughter of James C. and Virginia Pauline Ogburn Prince.
Mrs. Hamilton was formerly employed by Weldon Mills in Emporia, and she had a special place in her heart for the ladies she worked with there. A “people person,“ she had also worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart; and enjoyed her friends at Drugco.
She was an avid walker that also like dancing, fishing, and tanning at the beach. Most important to her was her love of God and her family. Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie; son, Keith Wayne Gordon and wife Candy, of Richmond; grandchildren, Caitlyn Gordon and Caleb Wright; and brothers, Roy Lee Prince and J.E. Prince (Joyce), all of Emporia.
Friends may visit with the family from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, with Dr. Francis Kyle presiding. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
