Margie Kathryn Causey Hauck, 77, of Deer Chase Drive, Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her home.

Margie was born May 19, 1938 in Pitt County to the late Floyd John Causey and Eva Taylor Causey. She was also preceded in death by her husband: William Francis “Bill” Hauck; her brothers: Frank Causey, F.J. Causey, Alvah Causey and Phillip Causey; her sister: Pearlie Braun.

Margie served her country in the United States Air Force and United States Marine Corps. She also loved baking, drinking coffee and watching old movies.

She is survived by her brothers: Louis Causey of Apex, Bruce Causey and his wife Sandra of Winterville, and David Causey of Holly Hill, SC; his sisters: Irene “Peggy” Williams and her husband Bill of Rocky Mount, and Annie Jane Campbell of Annapolis, MD; her sister-in-law: Eleanor Causey of Roanoke Rapids.

Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Temperance Hall United Methodist Church, PO Box 13, Pinetops, NC 27864.

Hockaday Funeral and Cremation service in Roanoke Rapids is in charge of the arrangements.
