Timothy Lee Rose, 63, died April 13, 2020 in his home in Scotland Neck.
He was born June 28, 1956 in Halifax County, the son of Floyd C. Rose and Blanche Sadler Rose.
Timothy was a 1974 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School. He attended ECU. A registered nurse, he loved playing golf and enjoyed the beach.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Tommy Rose; step-brother, Tim DeBerry; and grandparents, Tommy and Clara Sadler.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Blanche and Paul DeBerry; brother, Shawn Travis Rose; nephews, Jonathan and Travis Neal Rose; great-nephews, Trint and Carter Rose; and a great-niece, Alexa Kay Rose. He also leaves a number of cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests no food or flowers be sent, and asks that memorials be sent to either the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231 or to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
