Dr. Wilbert L. Chetty, 71, formerly of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina transitioned on September 26, 2021 at Nash UNC Health Care, Rocky Mount, NC.

A Visitation will be held for Dr. Chetty on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 beginning at 1:00 pm at London Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC. The Interment will immediately follow the service.

These professional services have been entrusted to H.D. Pope Funeral Home, 520 Smith Church Rd., Roanoke Rapids NC.

Due to COVID-19, H.D. Pope Funeral Home requires that all attendees to any service or visitation wear a face covering and practice social distance at all times. H.D. Pope Funeral Home staff has been trained to properly disinfect our chapels, lobbies, and restrooms after each service or visitation using state of the art Fog Sanitation.
