Charlie “Chuck” William Draughan, Jr., 74, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 in his home.
Hope Taylor went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 26th, 2024 at home.
She leaves behind her son, Blake Rook and wife Kendall of Pleasant Hill.
Hope’s first grandchild Kenly Rook is due any day.
Hope also leaves behind her mother, Eula Taylor of the home, brother Johnny Taylor and wife Monica of Seaboard and children (Ariel and family, Austin and wife Taylor, Curtis and Isabella) and sister Gay Haynes and husband Jim of Wake Forest.
Hope also leaves behind her boyfriend friend, Bobby Everingham, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Hope was preceded in death by her father John Thomas Taylor Sr. (Tommy) Taylor, her maternal grandparents Fenton and Reba Mayle (Mema and Papa), also paternal grandparents John and Sarah Taylor.
The family will be receiving friends and family from 6-7pm with the service following immediately on Monday November 4th, 2024 at bethel Baptist church 1010 Bethel Church Rd Pleasant Hill, NC 27866.
