Ruth Kay Beam, passed away on December 16, 2024. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, David Samuel Beam and Lucille Carter Beam, sister, Rachel Vincent, brother, David Glenn Beam Sr., nephew, David Glenn Beam Jr., and niece, Tina  Hoover. 

Kay is survived by her sister, Gail Falciani (Anthony), nieces that are like sisters, Marie Love and Melissa Newsome and life partner Alvis “Al” Sherron.

Kay helped Gail raise her children like they were her own, Loretta Mills (David), Walter Wallace and Christopher Jones (Angie). She loved her Thanksmas. 

Kay enjoyed getting the family together at her house, she loved cooking and reading. Kay also enjoyed doing hide and seek puzzles.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 starting at 2:00pm at Freedom Free Will Baptist Church 4516 NC-125 Halifax, NC 27839.
