Don Shelton Edwards, 61, went to be home with the Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlton Shelton Edwards and Nancy Case Edwards. Don is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Bradley Edwards, sons, Jesse Edwards and Corbin Edwards and brother, Greg Edwards.

Don enjoyed farming, gardening and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, especially his sons, Jesse and Corbin. Don was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. He was a good brother. He worked in maintenance all his life. 

Don earned his Journeyman degree in welding at Newport News Shipyard, where he built aircraft ships and submarines, especially the US Roosevelt. He was an excellent fabricator and welder, which allowed him to repair and fix anything. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Wrenn Funeral Home starting at 1:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow starting at 2:00pm with Pastors Matthew Reider and Bob Clyde officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Lebanon United Methodist Church.
