Elizabeth Gertrude Narron, born December 13, 1942, in Halifax County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026.

Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of the late William and Maggie Lee Raynor. 

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished friend. She lived a life centered on family and she will be remembered for her kind heart, as well as her feisty and spirited personality that brought laughter, strength, and authenticity to those around her.

In 1963, she married the love of her life, Donald Ray Narron, and together they built a life rooted in devotion and partnership that endured throughout her lifetime. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to enduring love and commitment.

Elizabeth found great joy in cooking, sewing, and quilting—talents she used to care for and connect with her family and community. 

Whether preparing meals, creating handmade treasures, or stitching quilts filled with love, she expressed her warmth and creativity in ways that will be cherished for generations. Her strong spirit and loving nature made her truly one of a kind.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Keith Narron.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Donald Ray Narron, with whom she shared an unparallelled devotion. Their legacy of love will be carried forward by their children, Dwayne Baird, Mike Narron, and Lee Narron; grandchildren, Alex Baird, Rennie Baird Polk, Daniel Narron, Rae Narron, Madison Womack, and Zack Mitchel; and great-grandchildren, Georgia Polk, Christopher Polk Jr., Emry Polk, Matthew Polk, and Lincoln Womack. She also leaves to cherish her memory her brothers, Bill Raynor and Ray Raynor; along with many extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 1 pm until 2 pm in the parlor of Wrenn Funeral Home, 1015 West 5th St. Roanoke Rapids. 

A Funeral Service for Elizabeth will be held in Wrenn's chapel at 2 pm with Pastor Rick Ragan officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.

Elizabeth Gertrude Narron will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, strength, spirited nature, and the lasting impact she had on her family and all who had the honor of knowing her.
