Wendy Leigh Seuis Cahoon, 51, died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital.

Wendy was a native of Halifax County, the daughter of John Irving and Becky Hux Seuis of Gaston. 

She was a member of New Testament Christian Church and a Graduate of Halifax Academy. Wendy loved her family and was very active and the “Jokester” of the group until stricken with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 24.

In addition to her parents, Wendy is survived by her husband; Alan Cahoon, her son; Joshua Seuis of Gaston, sisters; Shari Seuis of Weldon and Julie Seuis, a half-sister; Heather Delbridge, a half-brother; Shane Delbridge, and her beloved hound, King.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at New Testament Christian Church with Minister Daniel West and Minister Christopher Hux officiating. Burial will follow in Old Cedarwood Cemetery.
